On-the-stream schools are held on Saturdays from Spring to Fall. This full day school is held on private water at a ranch approximately one hour from Denver. In-town school students have the first chance at signup for these schools. The class spends five to six hours on the water honing the skills learned during the In-town fly fishing school. Students will have a chance to fish nymphs, dries, and streamers in a private setting perfect for learning. Our director of schools, Todd Clough teaches the class.

Fly Fishing schools are held on Saturdays from spring to fall here at the shop. The full day school covers all of the skill sets needed to become an accomplished angler; casting, fishing technique, fly presentation, reading the water, basic entomology, equipment understanding, knots, and where to fish. Todd Clough, our head instructor, has taught fly fishing for 30 years and is the most experienced fly fishing instructor in Colorado.
