FLY TYING CLASSES: Our fly
tying classes have become an institution here at Anglers All. Originally developed by Jim Poor in the 1960’s, the program
remains virtually unchanged today. Our system focuses on fly tying techniques and the uses for the various tying materials.
So that rather than tying specific fly patterns, students will learn the fundamentals of building all types of flies.
WHAT YOU NEED: You will need your own tools. We will provide the necessary materials used in class, but you will need your
own with which to practice at home.
TOOLS YOU NEED: Vise, scissors, bobbin with thread, whip-finish tool, dubbing
spinner, hair stacker, hackle pliers
