CANADA:  SUMMER COASTAL SALMON

The Coastal Canadian Mountain valleys provide us with an unlimited availability of fly friendly water during the summer months.  The Skeena River and it's tributaries; with help from the North Pacific Ocean, bring back year round runs of Salmon, Steelhead and Trout. Combined, these runs of WILD fish are the largest on Earth.

Our lodge is located on the banks of the Skeena River.  Every guest will have their own private accommodations; couples will enjoy bedrooms with King-size beds. The lodge also has a large lounge, gear room, dining room and all other necessary amenities.  Our cook specializes in a variety of homemade and hearty meals, guaranteed to satisfy after a day on the river.

With an incredible amount of water to fish in June and July, the toughest part of fishing here is deciding where to go!

Unlike the more popularized fall trips, these rivers, during the summer season, are all virtually uncrowded. This time of year is like one huge Salmon festival, 5 species of sea-bright wild fish are making there way up the Skeena and its tributaries.

The guides at this lodge specialize in the use of two handed spey rods, and are expert in casting instruction.

The days are long and eventful, the fish fight hard and the weather is perfect for fishing with temperatures averaging in the mid 70's with some days possibly reaching 90!  Hopping in the jet boat behind the Lodge and running the Skeena in search of runs of fish is an incredible way to spend the day. Floating or jet boating the tributaries can be phenomenal!
