1/2 Day in Deckers

Just finished a 1/2 day on Deckers. Flows are low, but the fishing has been really good. Water temps are starting in the low 50's but gettin' into the high 60's by mid day. It's very important to get your fish in and released asap. We are still picking up fish on Beatis patterns. Rig of choice-hopper dbl dropper. Use an attractor fly for your first dropper, and a beatis pattern for your second dropper (ph tail, Barr emerger,RS2, green hares ear). Concentrate on the deeper, darker runs, don't be afraid to fish the faster water. if you see a consistent riser, snip off droppers and tie on a 22-24 parachute adams, or a olive film fly.
