Caddis action in the Canyon

The canyon was surprisingly not too crowded early, about 10am the masses started showing up. The river had just come up, but the visibility was great and there were plenty of fish spotted. Before 9am there were several rising fish, mostly feeding on small caddis. There was not a major hatch, but there were a few mayflies and caddis in the air before 9. The fish are spooky, so stealth is needed and soft casts. All in all the Deckers area is still fishing good and a great option for a day on the water.
