Eagle River Below Gypsum

The Eagle is always a blast to fish. There are many different types of water for lots of fun and exciting fishing. There were good fish rising and taking flies around the noon hour; BWO all the way. Small was the key, they did not like anything bigger than a 18. Nymphing is generally good while the water warms through the middle part of the day, although on this day it was a bit slow on the sub-surface flies.
