Floated the Roaring Fork down from Carbondale today with good success. The water is light green but with good visibility. The wind and temperatures were a bit of a struggle during the middle of the day but all in all very productive. The fish moved to a number of different flies and were really on the streamers. It was too cold for any surface activity but the caddis are close to popping on the lower sections.
Nymph rigs and streamers are definitely the way to go until the caddis hatch!
