Great Spring Fishing on The Gunnison, East, and Taylor Rivers
The grasp of winter has let up and the fishing is heating up. Our recent float trips on the Upper Gunnison have been very productive. Enjoy spring fishing in Gunnison County, and fish a variety of waters - the East, Taylor, and Gunnison Rivers.

Recommended:
Wading on the Taylor has been good, with lots of people at the c&r section. Our private access has been spactacular, and will continue to fish very well through run-off with very little pressure. Gunnison River float trips are great with very little river traffic and quality trout. Water level are still low enough for foot access at all public access points
Equipment:
We are fishing 5 and 6 weights, alternating nypmh rigs, streamers, and some dry fly action
Fly Types:
STREAMERS - the DOW is releasing 3 million kokanee fry on the 14th
NYMPHS - 20 inchers and other stonefly patterns with eggs, worms, midge pupa, and bwo nymphs are the top choices.
DRIES - bwos and midges
