South Boulder Creek

South Boulder Creek below Gross Reservoir is a great place to dry fly fish without driving very far.  The flows have been steady just at or around 200 cfs for quite a while.  This is a bit high for optimal fishing here, however, we were able to pick up fish pretty consistently throughout the day.  The water is clear and the fish are holding behind rocks and in any slow water due to the fast current.  Overall the creek is fishing well.  Watch the flows on this fishery.  When it drops to 150 cfs or below it's going to be lights out!
