Spinney and 11 mile Pike Fishing

Sunday started early as Wes and I left the shop at 4:30 in the morning in search of Pike. We got on the water at Spinney at 7 in the morning. We started off on the South Side the lake. There wasn't any wind and it started off with a follow with in the first 45 minutes of fishing. By 11 am we had had 5 follows and hooked 2 fish but were not able to bring any to hand. It was good to see fish moving, First time this year that we had fish moving to a fly. More to come in the next couple of weeks. 11 mile didn't have any fish for us this time, the water is a few degrees colder and fish are not moving around.
