We had a good day on the Colorado today. We floated from State Bridge to Catamount Campground. Nymphing was the order of the day. There was very little surface activity to speak of. The rigs were primarily 6 to 7 feet long with two flies about 16 inches apart. Stay with 5x flourocarbon to the flies and make sure you have enough weight to get close to the bottom. Soft hackle flies on the swing did produce some fish so they are feeding at different depths. We tried some egg patterns to see if the fish were thinking about spawning but nothing yet. All in all it's a good time to hit up the mighty Colorado!
