Summertime Variety
Due to rising water temps the variety of flyfishing oppertunitie on the San Juan is currentley great. Caddis and PMDs in the lower water and baetis and midges throught the quality water equal good dryfly and nymph fishing throughout the system. The flows have increased to 800cfs making for good wade access, adding water to quality water back channels as well much needed volume for lower river floats.
