Crystal Spinner - Umpqua Fly
Details
The Crystal Spinner is a classic dry fly. The Spinner is the last and most vulnerable stage of a mayfly. Once the mayflies have mated, they travel to the river to die. A spent spinner is a mayfly that has died and splayed out their wings on the surface of the water. This is a dinner bell for hungry trout.
All Umpqua flies are tied on Tiemco Hooks. These top quality Japanese hooks are tempered and forged for strength and chemically sharpened.
