Higa's SOS - Fulling Mill Fly
Details
Created by Utah-based fly fishing guide Spencer Higa, the SOS is a baetis pattern that does a great job of checking the boxes for both an attractor and an imitative fly. The SOS is an excellent searcher nymph for prospecting new water. It can also be used to stand out to (but not raise the alarm for) fish munching their way through a thick baetis hatch.
