Hotwire Caddis - Umpqua Fly
Details
Invented by Ken Morrish out of Ashland, OR, the Amber Hot Wire Caddis Fly was his adaptation of a Copper John caddis. The use of wire helps get this pattern down, while the curved hook gives a more caddis-like profile. This is a great searching pattern that should be in every fly fisherman's fly box.
