Maldo's PMD Emerger - Umpqua Fly

"Maldo’s PMD Emerger came about after fishing PMD Hatches on the Frying Pan, Eagle, Roaring Fork and Eleven Mile Canyon.

I was looking for something different, way different than the norm. Something to ride low in the film.  Something outside the conventional dry fly stuff, one hanging, struggling at the surface with sunk body and shuck hanging on.

This one doesn’t look like all the others as the shape and posture triggers hard strikes. Using natural materials such as polish quill body and mallard flank wally wings coated with solarez bone dry for durability."
