Rio Manso | Northern Patagonia

While we would never wish summer away, we certainly look forward to the summer season on the other side of the equator throughout Patagonia. As snow threatens to fall here in Colorado, our friends down south are watching it melt away and their trout waters open up. Its during this time we anxiously await our time to reconnect with friends, as well as trophy trout in the southern hemisphere, enjoying an extended dry fly season, matte teas on the front lawn to start the day, and a glass of Malbec under the southern cross.

Rio Manso is located in the heart of Patagonia trout country, in one of the most iconic lodges, and terrain settings available to anglers on the fly. As we fully anticipate a complete reopening of Argentina and Chile, we are preparing for our trip south. We are excited to experience the cold glacier waters, crystal clear rivers and streams, and sight fishing to rising fish in our winter months, as Patagonia starts to hit temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s come December and January.

We have prime availability for our reserved week of November 28 - December 5 2021, as well as throughout the January 2022 season. We can confidently reassure weary travelers that if for any reason you decide to cancel your trip outside of 90 days prior to your departure, a 100% refund will be issued the same day.

This trip is priced at $5,200 per angler, and $3,100 for a non-angler rate (single days of fishing can be added to the non angler rate as well). This pricing includes lodging, all food and beverage, alcohol and airport transfers.

Gunnison Gorge | Southwestern Colorado

We currently have great availability for our overnight trips through Gunnison Gorge, ranging from 1 night and 2 days of fishing, or 2 nights and 3 days of fishing, as well as our single day jet boat, and float trips down the lower Gunnison River. The iconic Gunnison River is kept entirely within the state lines of Colorado, starting in Almont where the East, and Taylor River meet, and flowing into Grand Junction to confluence with the Colorado River, this Colorado exclusive river is highlighted in Chris Santella’s famed book “50 places to fly fish before you die”. Floating through the Gunnison Gorge, as well as through the Hotchkiss area isn’t just a fishing trip, its an experience that feels like traveling back in time. With a limited number of permits, and outfitters, the Gunnison should be on every anglers destination short list.

If a 3-day camp & float trip isn’t in the cards, experience the Gunnison through our outfitter who holds the only permit in Colorado to jet boat upstream on the Gunnison River, and be dropped off with an experienced Gunnison River guide, and your raft for a special, scenic and excellent fishing float back down river. The Gorge offers cold water as it is a tailwater, and great summer, into late season fishing. With launch dates available into late September, this is a great trip to enjoy the summer months, or enjoy the changing colors as you head to southern Colorado in pursuit of your next great trip down the famed Gunnison River.

  • Our 3 day / 2 night trip is priced at $1,815 per angler
  • 2 Day / 1 night trip is priced at $1,415 per angler
