We first experienced the fishing at Cinco Rios Lodge in 2015. Since then, we have enjoyed sharing the adventure with many of our friends and customers. 2019 marked the fifth consecutive year of sold-out trips to Cinco Rios. It has quickly become one of our most popular travel destinations. The two trips in 2019 are barely behind us, but we’re already looking forward to our return to Chile in 2020!
Our first trip in 2020 will be February 22nd through the 29th, hosted by our own eCommerce manager, Blake Katchur. For the first time, we will be hosting a split week between the extremely popular Estancia Del Zorro and the main Cinco Rios Lodge. Anglers will arrive at Estancia del Zorro and enjoy the incredible spring creek fishing until the 25th. Then, they will move to the Cinco Rios Lodge for the remaining 4 nights.
The second trip next year will be February 29th through March 7th. Another prime week of fishing, we book these dates a year in advance to secure the lodge during prime season on the many waters available from Cinco Rios Lodge. Anglers on this trip can find themselves fishing spring creeks, coastal rivers, glacial lakes and mountain-fed streams, all within striking distance of the lodge.
In fact, the incredible variety of fishing is exactly what draws us back to Cinco Rios each year. The hospitality, accommodations, food, wine and guides are a huge part of that too. But the variety of waters is really what makes Cinco Rios so unique. Customers who have visited Cinco Rios tell us that they could come back every year and have a different experience each time.
