It’s Fly Tying Season: Join a Class and Find Resources at Anglers All

Fall is here and so is a new season of fly tying classes at Anglers All. Join instructor Greg Garcia for our Fly Tying 101 and 201 series of classes. Greg is an Umpqua Signature Fly Designer, and an outstanding fly tying instructor. These classes are an awesome learning opportunity.


Fly Tying 101 Classes

The class schedule begins with our Fly Tying 101 class. This class is extremely popular and it always sells out. If you’re interested, get signed up quickly! In Fly Tying 101, we will cover the most important fundamentals, and the techniques that you’ll be able to carry into all aspects of successful fly tying.

Fly Tying 101 is a 3-day course, held on three consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The first round of Fly Tying 101 begins on Saturday, November 23rd and continues on November 30th and December 7th.

We will hold another round of this 3-week course in February and again in March. See our Classes Page for a complete list of Fly Tying 101 dates.

Fly Tying 201 Classes       

Next up is our Fly Tying 201 class. In this class, we will learn to tie dry flies and practice tricks and techniques to tie the some of the most challenging patterns. Through the course, we will cover a gamut of different styles of dry fly wings.

This is also a 3-day course, held on consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The first round of Fly Tying 201 Begins on January 11th and continues on January 18th and 25th.
