Fly Shop Happy Hour: Learn About Fly Fishing in Patagonia

If you’ve been curious about fishing opportunities in Patagonia, this casual happy hour will be a perfect opportunity to learn more. Patagonia is a captivating destination. The incredible variety of waters, the fishing, the food, the people and the breathtaking landscapes together create a wonderfully unique experience.
Our travel coordinator, Andrew Pulford, and ecommerce manager, Blake Katchur, have both spent time fishing in Patagonia. They would love to share their experiences in the Chilean and Argentinian parts of the region. They can provide details about logistics, the fisheries, flies, expectations, as well as flights, and regional information for our favorite destinations, Cinco Rios, Rio Manso, and Estancia Del Zorro.
Opportunities This Season
The fly fishing season in the southern hemisphere generally runs from December through March. Since 2015, our trip to Cinco Rios Lodge in Chile has become an annual shop favorite. This year, we have two trips on the calendar: February 22-29 and February 29-March 7.
Both of these weeks are nearly sold out. In fact, we have just one room available for each week. We’re also looking forward to visiting our friends at Rio Manso in Argentina in just a few weeks! This year’s shop hosted trip to Rio Manso is sold out. However, we’d love to help you with other available dates this season. There are plenty of opportunities to plan a trip outside of our hosted travel dates.
