Happy New Year: A Note From the Owner, Chris Keeley

Anglers and Friends,

Only look back to see how far you’ve come.  Words to live by in my book and now’s the time of year we look back.

I would like to THANK YOU, the legions of customers, anglers, friends, and family who supported Anglers All in 2017.  It was another great year for the fly shop and the fly fishing industry.

Here at the shop we’ve welcomed some new faces to our team, Dakota, Jimmy, and Brittany are bringing knowledge, customer service, and lots of laughs to our days.

2017 gave us some great moments to celebrate including a huge party at the Trout Clave, the introduction and success of Greg Garcia’s Foldover Baetis and Darth Baetis flies to the Umpqua catalogue, a wild Mile High 25 tournament, and many milestones on the rivers and in the salt.

I’m thankful to have had the ability to improve our space making Anglers All a better place to visit and work.  This year we cut our electricity load in half with the addition of solar panels to our roof, installed more efficient windows and doors, added signage to increase visibility from Santa Fe Drive, and are finishing up with our outdoor stair and railing renovation.  Our goal and vision as a team is to make something better everyday.  I hope this has reflected in an even better shopping experience.

We all face a tumultuous time as anglers.  There are many threats to our rivers, lakes, oceans, and estuaries.  I hope you all take a moment to think about your stewardship and involvement with the conservation and betterment of our resources.  Now more than ever it’s important to get involved and stand up for what is important to you.  Clean water, clean energy, access to public lands, and wildlife protection are important to us and we pledge to do more in 2018. We hope you will too.

Lastly I owe a big thank you to my wife Susie, Greg Garcia, and Andy Dunn.  Without the support and hard work from these people Anglers All would not be what it is today.

Happy New Year and Tight Lines!
