New Fly Tying Video Featuring a Skip Morris Classic

With Davis behind the camera and Greg behind the vise, we are excited about a new fly tying video, part of our Fly Tying Fridays video series. This time, Greg shows us the classic Skip Morris pattern, Gabriel’s Trumpet.

These in-depth, instructional fly tying videos are released on Fridays on the Anglers All YouTube channel. If you enjoy these videos, please take a moment to subscribe to our YouTube channel.

In this latest video, we get a step-by-step look at Gabriel’s Trumpet, a fantastic little attractor nymph. It’s fished primarily as a golden stonefly, but can also imitate a PMD nymph. You can fish in on the swing, on a nymph rig, or as a dropper. One of this fly’s best attributes is its versatility.
