This is the ideal class for learning to tie dry flies. In this class, you will learn tricks and techniques to tie the most challenging patterns. We will cover hair wings for Comparaduns, Caddis and Stimulators, feather wings to tie quill bodies and traditional dries. We will also learn how to tie calf wings for H&L Variants, and Wulff wings.
The Fly Tying 101 Class is highly recommended before taking this class, as we will build upon the principles learned there. This class is held on three consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Fly Tying 201 Class is a perfect follow-up to our 101 class. This class will help you feel confident tying a wide variety of dry fly wing styles and other more advanced techniques.
Tying materials are included in the class. Students will need to bring their own vice and tools.
