DESTINATION: TARPON CAYE, BELIZE

A Belizean location with a reputation as a grand slam fishery? Sign us up!

Located 15 miles off the coast of Belize and strait east of the small town of Placencia, Tarpon Caye has built a reputation as a dedicated Grand Slam fishery in the heart of one of the most famous salt water flats fisheries Belize has to offer. Priding their program on fishing the tides, not the clock, this Belize angling paradise holds a modest 10 guests, during their week program the fishery will produce consistent shots at Permit, as well as rolling Tarpon, and is also home to a healthy bonefish population throughout the region. Located in the heart of the famed Victoria Chanel, aka Permit Alley you will enjoy your week with days on the water starting as early as 5:30 a.m. for cruising Tarpon, and wrap up as the sun sets.

Enjoy evening cocktails on the deck of your over the water bungalow, or share tales in the bar and dining area. With hundreds of flats to wade and pole, an angler can anticipate fishing over a dozen various flats throughout the day in pursuit of the big 3, also spending time along the 2nd largest coral reef in the world in pursuit of Barracuda, Permit, Tarpon, and Bonefish. Tarpon Caye is certainly a world class salt destination just a few hours from our home base of Denver.
