The custom fly selection you are about to order will consist of a dozen hand selected flies from the fly bins of Anglers All. These flies will be selected by an Anglers All staff member using the knowledge, research and experience of the collective Anglers All team, based on the month you will be two handed fishing in Colorado. These selections will include wet flies, soft hackles and streamers. Your package will include your flies in a reusable Anglers All fly cup, as well as a list with pictures, names and descriptions of your flies. The dozen you will receive will not guarantee fish caught, but include the flies we would bring to the water if we were to fish it with you!
Trout Spey Fishing In Colorado:
Swinging flies for trout is certainly not a numbers game, but with a tight line swing the grabs are absolutely awesome. Trout Spey offers a new kind of fishing to those looking to expand their techniques for catching trout. You will look at water differently, and will fish different water then you do while nymphing or dry fly fishing.
Trout Spey Locations:
To truly experience all the advantages of swinging down and across you will need big wide rivers. This rules out more than a few of favorite waters around the state, but thats also the point, explore new water and new spots.
We like the Colorado River, the Arkansas River and the Gunnison in search of epic spey days on the water. When flows are up, the Williams Fork and even the Deckers stretch of the South Platte can offer good swing water too.
