We are celebrating 65 years in Littleton, Colorado and you’re invited!
Save the date on Saturday April 20th, 2019 for the Anglers All Clave and 65th anniversary celebration. We’re also commemorating 50 years with our friends at Colorado Trout Unlimited. This is going to be one heck of a party, and you don’t want to miss it.
There will be barbecue, beer, live music, fishing seminars, tying demos and raffles. We will be raising funds for a native trout restoration project in partnership with Colorado Trout Unlimited. Plus, we are proud to be hosting a premier screening of the film “Artifishal” presented by Patagonia!
Those who like to arrive early will be glad to know that we will continue the tradition of a 50% off sale on trout flies. The Clave will kick off with the half-off deal on trout flies from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Early risers will be able to enjoy coffee from The Rise Coffee Company and breakfast featuring Patagonia Provisions.
The fly sale will end promptly at 11:00 a.m. Then the real fun begins. We will have a fly rod and reel showcase on the front lawn while Moe’s Barbeque and Breckenridge brewery serve up the good stuff. Two giant tents on the back lot will each have a stage, seating, and tables for lunch.
One stage will feature live music provided by Canyon Collected. The second stage will host fly tying demos and seminars. Catch fly tying with our own Greg Garcia and Alec Gerbec from Umpqua Feather Merchants. Or attend a trout spey Q&A with Simon Gawesworth from Rio Products, or a Euro nymphing Q&A with Russell Miller from Umpqua.
To mark the 50th anniversary of Colorado Trout Unlimited, 2019 Clave events will raise funds for a native trout restoration project right here in Colorado in partnership with CTU and with the help of our Clave sponsors.
After lunch, you’ll want to stick around for an exclusive premiere screening of the film, “Artifishal” presented by Patagonia.
After the film, we will end the day’s celebration with a raffle drawing. Don’t leave early, because you must be present to win. We have an awesome list of prizes. Most notably, Boulder Boat Works will be at the clave with the first look at their new, Colorado Trout Unlimited 50th anniversary edition boat. Clave attendees will be the first to see it, and have the first shot at buying raffle tickets to take it home!
